The Pilots - Navigating A Nation

Today, I’m flying with an airline that’s not my preferred choice, but it was available to get me to my destination!

Due to limited seat availability, I ended up sitting in the dreaded middle!

This flight, nevertheless, reminded me of a conversation I had with my best friend yesterday.

Metaphorically Speaking

Regardless of the pilot’s race, nationality, religion, or political affiliation, most passengers (if not all) want the pilots to navigate properly and do their jobs with excellence! They want them to get us to our destination safely!

No one (with good judgment and common sense) is praying for their demise, even if they have great differences in background and views, because that would be devastating for all.

In case of turbulence and/or storms, we pray they get us through them!

Once we land safely, we have a choice: not to fly with them again and hope for a different option next time!

The POINT: Donald J. Trump and J.D. Vance (President and Vice President-elect) are in the pilot seats for this season!

Regardless of a person’s views or positions, we are all on this flight together! We should pray that they navigate us safely through the turbulence, storms, and good times—to the best of their abilities!

Again, we’re all on this flight together, until it lands four years from now. Only then can America 🇺🇸 choose another airline or continue with the one we have (with different pilots).

In closing, praying for the demise or failure of the pilots is a prayer of self-destruction!

I’ve always prayed for the pilots of America 🇺🇸, even when they were not my choice!

1 Timothy 2:1-3 states:
1) Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2) for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3) For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior;

As believers, let us live out this scripture!

May God bless, guide, and protect those piloting our nation now and for the years to come!
