  • Border Patrol Processors – Drafted Legislative Blueprint on behalf of Border Patrol in order to assist Agents in processing the thousands of illegal immigrants apprehended weekly.  Submitted November 2016 –ADAPTED & ENACTED JUNE 2019 (200 NEW JOBS CREATED w/$10 Million Appropriations Bill).

Petitions to Congress

- Employment Evacuation Protection (EPP) Bill - a bill to provide additional protection for workers that choose to evacuate during natural disasters.  Ensure that employers cannot demote, fire, layoff or otherwise impede the employment of the worker due to choice of evacuation due to the natural disaster or the proposed threat thereof (some exceptions exist).  Submitted October 2017 | Status: Pending - Continuing. 

2Step ACT – On behalf of Gold Star Mom Tracy LaPorte in recognition of his son Sgt. Adam “2Step” Huckstep. Currently Rental Car Companies can rent to anyone without a requirement to run drivers licenses to ensure they are value.  Upon returning from Iraq and preparing for Afghanistan, SGT. Huckstep  was killed by a driver who should not have been able to rent a car.  Learn more and sign the petition.  – Submitted January 2020 | Status: Pending - Continuing.
